Thank You, Yogis !

A lot of love and honesty in her. It was a holy time for me in that time on Goa and Anj yoga classes gave me a beautiful peace and time to work on myself deeply. Her engagement, intentions, energy and naturalness..
And these moments during the classes when you hear the right words in the right moment of you practise that lead you to the truth inside yourself.
She was , still is a beautiful guide on my yoga way.
Thank you Anj *

I have been to many yoga classes, in different styles, with different teachers. For me, the most important thing is whether the teacher truly cares for his/her students or not. Anjalika does and this is why i love her classes. She wants her students to learn and grow and she guides them in a confident, gently way. I wish i could attend more of her classes and hope to come and visit her in India in the near future. Namaste

Anj is like bright ray of sunlight. smiling and patient, encouraging and adaptable to all levels. Diverse & dynamic as well as having the knowledge to teach the traditional and modern aspects of yoga. Although I have practiced yoga with many teachers in many parts of the world Anj never fails to teach me something new or a new variation of something old! Challenging, yet soothing ; ) I look forward to getting back on the mat with you so much girl!! x

I truly felt and still feel thankful after attending your classes. Anjalika lit the fire of interest for Yoga inside of my heart! And to bring light and love to our innerselfs is the real challenge every teacher whether Yoga or not has to face.
Well done and go on with my deepest appreciation

Coming to yoga as a complete beginner, Anj was patient and enthusiastic about ensuring that I picked up this fantastic practice. I began Yoga as a pathetic scrap of rusty old metal, but left as a super smooth, ultra flexible piece of stainless steel - a marvel in the world of flexibility and awesomeness.

Anj is a wonderful teacher. She is, and always will be, my Yogini - a gentle, caring instructor and a sincere, pure being.

I am quite a pessimistic persson, such was with yoga. One day, Anjalika appeared in my country and after a long conversation I tried the yoga with ANJ. It was like different word, she has made a short induction, than we started. She was very professional, accurate and with plesure, I did not notice that one hour has gone.

I truly recommend Anjalika and I am sure everyone would be contented with such a perfect teacher.

BIG UP !

Jakob.

The experience of learning from Anjalika is unique. There is nothing quite like it. I started learning yoga from her at the age of 60, hoping for nothing more than some relief for aching knees and stiff shoulders. Within a month, her gentle and persistent encouragement worked its magic and I was not just free of all pain but also so much more flexible and supple! Over the couple of years I have learnt from her, she has taken me through an incredible journey of wonderment, well-being and joy. Being an accomplished yogi is not enough; it takes that special effort and intuition from a teacher to be able to impart knowledge and stimulate interest in the student. Anjalika not only has that gift in abundance; she is also a wonderful, compassionate human being. Despite being so much older, I have learnt so much from her and I don't mean just yoga! I desperately miss her and wish she was back!

Anjalika is easily the best yoga teacher I have come across in my life. I have earlier learnt yoga from teachers who have been practising yoga much longer than Anjalika, but the way she teaches is incomparable. She encourages you to go further ever so gently, and always herself demonstrates what she expects you to do. Apart from this, she is an amazing personality to know. It is a real pity she has left Delhi. I hope she changes her mind and comes back.

I lived in Delhi in 2011 whilst researching and writing a novel. I contacted Anjalika, wanting to alleviate some of the stiffness and pain I was feeling in my back from all the hours sat at a desk, typing on my computer. The benefits I felt from her yoga classes were nothing short of miraculous. My muscles and joints relaxed, allowing me to sit comfortably and concentrated at my desk. Further, as a result of the meditation practiced in class, when it came to the task of writing, my mind felt more agile and focused. Anjalika is a confident teacher: knowledgeable, engaging, and very perceptive. Furthermore, she's a positive and beautiful person whose energy fills the yoga room and makes it a very pleasant place to be.

I have learnt more from Anjalika than I can say. She took my stiff and aged body and moulded it to actually be able to follow her instructions! Her firm belief in my capabilities led me to believe that I could do it. And the gentle encouragement I always received from her boosted me immensely! Her style of teaching is unique; each class is a fun happening, with something new and interesting in each class. The same asanas feel new when she adds a little twist, a bit of background information, some theory and the benefits. Above all, her classes are a huge and enthusiastic learning experience! You will understand what I'm saying only when you go through one of her classes! She is easily the best teacher I have ever come across, and I don't mean yoga only! Bandana

I'm the manager of a resort in Goa, where Anjalika currently teaches and I feel compelled to say a few words about the reactions from the guests. Through all of the last 6 months and the numerous guests that Anjalika has taught a class, there has not been a single bad word about her classes. Every guest comes out glowing after a class and their reactions have been happy and positive. Many beginner students have raved about her class and returned for more, and the more advanced ones mentioned that it has been the best yoga class of their lives. Even when guests have checked out of the resort and moved to other parts of Goa they have returned to be taught by her. I think it says a lot about her teaching methods and what she gives to students.

Anjalika is the best yoga teacher I ever experienced in my life. She encouraged me always, with gentle persuation to challenge my limitations and made me feel like a winner at the end. She is very well informed in her subject and instills trust. She's extremely compassionate in her approach and yet she empowers you with her compassion and doesn't make you weak or dependant. Anjalika is AMAZING!!
